1902 was the year of King Edward VII Coronation. There were two Proof Coin Sets issued. The 13 Coin Proof Set (this one) was issued with a Matt proof finish and denominations started at the highest of Five Pound, Two Pound, Sovereign, Half Sovereign, Crown, Half Crown, Florin, Shilling, Sixpence, Maundy fourpence, Threepence, Twopence and Penny.
This set is also known as a Long Set.
The 11 Coin Proof set consists the denomination Sovereign down to Maundy Penny.
This set is also known as a Short Set.
